Project Overview

Acorn Passive Fire Protection is delivering targeted fire stopping works at Fiddleford Ridge, supporting Wyatt Homes across two new residential apartments. Our role is to ensure all service penetrations are fully compliant with the building’s fire strategy, maintaining the integrity of each fire-rated compartment throughout the build.

Scope of Works

• Fire stopping to water penetrations

• Fire stopping to main electrical penetrations

• SVP penetrations to solid floors (up to 200mm apertures)

• Installation of tested, fully compliant systems in line with Wyatt Homes’ specifications

 

How We Delivered

Our team coordinated installs around the construction schedule to ensure penetrations were sealed at the correct stage of build, preventing later access issues. All materials were selected to maintain required fire and smoke resistance ratings, and each installation was photographed and documented for O&M submission.

Outcome (Ongoing)

Work is progressing smoothly as we move through each apartment block, securing compartment lines and ensuring every opening is sealed to the appropriate standard.
