Project Overview

Acorn Passive Fire Protection have been instructed to carry out fire stopping works across several key areas within the new children’s activity zone. Our role covers all service penetrations highlighted during the walk-through and confirmed on the marked drawings.

Fire stopping to service penetrations.

Scope of Works – Communal Areas

• Solid floor compound installations, including intumescent wrap protection to M&E risers

• Fire stopping to service penetrations above entrance doors (max 40mm apertures)

• Fire stopping to solid walls forming lobby and service riser compartments

• Pipework penetration sealing to maintain compartment integrity

How We Delivered

• All seals  installed to 60-minute integrity and insulation (60/60) performance.

• All works undertaken in full compliance with our IFC third-party accreditation.

• Every penetration recorded, photographed, and logged within our Bolster system. A complete digital record will be issued upon completion.

Outcome (Ongoing)

This ongoing package ensures that all service penetrations within the first section of the build; the children’s activity areas, are protected to a high standard, maintaining the integrity of fire compartments and supporting a safe environment for future users.
