Care South appointed Acorn Passive Fire Protection to remove failed fire barriers in a live care home environment and install new, certified flexible cavity fire barriers within loft spaces above apartment areas.

Scope of Works

• Removal of outdated compartmentation materials

• Installation of Firefly Titan Lite 120:60 flexible cavity barriers

• Type B coated woven glass fibre cloth system

• Works carried out above live residential accommodation

How We Delivered

All works were undertaken with strict controls to ensure minimal disturbance to residents and staff. Containment, dust suppression, and careful access management ensured safe operation in a sensitive setting.

We are progressing through loft spaces zone-by-zone, reinstating compliant fire protection and enhancing long-term safety and performance.
